We fund small UK-based charities, making grants and supporting activists in two areas: strengthening financial integrity in the UK, and strengthening high potential UK non-profits. We support work that makes a difference in low income countries and our grants are for up to £35,000 per year, for 1 – 3 years.

We make grants for running costs and salaries to small registered charities in England and Wales to help sustain their existing work. We will not fund work that does not focus specifically on one of our priority groups. Applicants that reflect our grant making policy have the best chance of success. We offer grants only to registered charities with a total annual expenditure of less than £40,000.
The Civic Power Fund is a new fund for grassroots community organising. We will provided targeted long-term funding in key geographies across the UK. We work with organisations as partners, employing a trust-based and participatory grantmaking approach.

We are an independent grant making trust that operates across the United Kingdom. We run two grant rounds each year – one for work supporting young people who have a criminal conviction on their record and one for young people who are considered high risk and on the edge of the criminal justice system. In September we will be open for applications supporting young people who are at high risk of committing a first offence.
