Yapp Charitable Trust
We make grants for running costs and salaries to small registered charities in England and Wales to help sustain their existing work. We will not fund work that does not focus specifically on one of our priority groups. Applicants that reflect our grant making policy have the best chance of success. We offer grants only to registered charities with a total annual expenditure of less than £40,000.

Yapp is a really easy funder to work with, minimal information needed for application and report each year (we had a 3 year grant), they send reminder emails and as long as you remember your password there online system is really simple to use

Simple and easy application and reporting process

The only issue I had was the forgotten password link never worked, but the adminstrator was always help and resolved the issue manually for me.

It is difficult to secure funding for overheads as most grants only fund the actual projects, but with YAPP we were able to use the funding for rent, which kept increasing, so it was a godsend for our small charity. We relied on EU funding so when that went this was literally our lifeline to continue helping refugees and asylum seekers to assimilate into our community.

do not hesitate in ringing them with any questions or on asking for advise as they are more then helpful and make sure you read the guidelines as they really do help you with your application.
