There's lot of supporting information about applying for the grant that is provided, which I would encourage you to read/watch/get involved with. The scoring matrix is also available so use this to guide you. The programme is about exploring a specific problem and developing a potential solution so you don't need to have exact ideas to put into the application but it helps if you have an issue in mind to tackle that you have begun to explore. The application is structured in a way that means you start doing some of the design thinking activities within the application, so it is a useful exercise even if you are not successful.

The application process was well supported with both written guidance and webinars which were opportunities to ask questions. It was easy to get in contact with the team. I appreciated seeing the scoring matrix, the transparency was great and meant I didn't spend unnecessary time including information the application did not require. I really liked how the application involved activities like problem statements and knowledge boards - it made applying a really useful exercise in and of itself.
